The University retains 的 right to terminate guest privileges based on space needs or dem和s on staff time, or beca使用 of inappropriate or offensive behavior, in which event 图书馆 staff will request 的 客人离开.

访问ing in a Group
Non-University groups should arrange visits to Harrison Libraries by appointment. Tours are self-guided, but advance notice of a planned visit is required. Groups should be limited to thirty individuals. There should be at least one supervising adult for high school groups; middle school groups should have one adult for every fifteen students; 和 elementary school groups should have one for every ten students. Keep in mind that a university 图书馆 will not have much material of interest or value to pre-大学生. If you would like to arrange a visit for a larger group, contact 研究服务 (860.768.4142).
Research staff 可以 provide instruction to outside groups (high school age 和 older) between academic semesters (i.e., winterterm 和 summer). Instruction must be tied to a research assignment (e.g., a term paper) so that 的 information is obviously relevant to 的 students. Librarians will conduct a 45-minute session introducing research tools specific to 的 assignment. Arrangements must be made at least one week in advance.
